"Party People! Can y'all get funky?..."

Post the Disco/Funk explosion of the 70s, and pre Hip-Hop and House there was 'Electro'. - a combination of European synth minimalism and the sounds of black America. The influence on present day culture is astronomical and very apparent but to hear music like this for the first time was truly mind blowing, and in the early 80s opinion was divided - many accused the genre of just 'stealing' the ideas of others and having no artistic merit of its own. Then again, around this time the Musicians Union tried to ban synthesizers - the twats.

In the Herbal T household it is barbeque/party music that the kids like to do the 'robot-dance' to.

This fantastic mix is spread over two parts so you can create CDs (to review only - if you like it please buy it), I have also uploaded the complete mix in case you want to play from digital.

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you the magical;
